"The Rock did it My Way (Abridged)"

Opening this weekend at the PAC is American Theatre Company's production of 'My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra', Theatre Tulsa's 'The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged)', the Lindsey Neal cabaret, Heller Theatre's 'Laughing Matter Improv Reunion', and the continuation of Celebrity Attraction's alleged "musical", 'The Rock and the Rabbi'. May I just say the opening nights (and closing nights for that matter) suck ass b/c all that could and will go wrong, does. Mass chaos...but all usually goes fine in the end. Both ATC and TT had their cast parties on stage after their shows...interesting but successful choices. My ex-fiancee is in the My Way show...she "acts" likes such a bitch to me (ex for a reason????)...she's not even worth the time to even put her into my blog...don't be surprised if I just edit this out one day. Her loss, another's gain! Just bought a Kirby vacuum from a friend...I'm sure I'll feel it was worth it...one day! Actually I'm very happy to have a really good vacuum for a change that can do just about anything but cook breakfast for me... I might even clean more often now! I also just got high speed internet installed along w/ VoIP phone service...very cool stuff!! Now if I will only upgrade my Pentium II slow-ass computer. eStar's VoIP service offerings are but a taste of what's to come: the next-next generation of personal communications that will blow us all away... not many details as the contracts and logistics are being taken care of but I'll mention more as I know more.

Certain people need to return phone calls!! (If not, then FU, too!) Certain other people need to contact me (i.e. Greg, et. al.) Love that Latin!

Have to take in my car ('03 Saturn VUE) for general maintenance...

Junior Mints rock!! (Thanks, Rita!)

Anyone (female) want to show me their 'red-eye'? (Kegger will hate me for that one!)

I made the choice to be successful...while others limit themselves b/c they feel they have no other choices...as Tony Little says: "You can do-ihhhhhhhhtt!!!!!!!"

Jorge Sergio...out!

Musings...and stuff

Saw 'Fantastic 4' last night w/ my lady...a fantastic movie (of course no pun intended!) albeit a little weak on the script and action development. A fun time overall. Can't decide which of their powers I'd prefer to have...they all can come in handy... :-) I'll soon be getting high speed internet at home (that will probably blow up my slow-a** '98 Pentium II 'puter) and VoIP phone service (via my eStar business)...getting very close to finally qualifying my position w/in the company...I also have good news...I just saved a bunch....uh....that wasn't it...I got notification that another rep has signed on w/ eStar w/ me!! Very excited!!! Plus the combo of the high speed and VoIP will actually save me $20/mo than what I'm paying now! More changes are a-comin' and my dreams will become reality. Never give up on what you truly want...anything worth dreaming and longing for is well worth the price and risk to get it no matter how long it takes. eStar is my vehicle and I'm getting some nice gas milage right now!! Are you in the slow lane and have to refill your tank way too often? Goto http://www.wantamentor.com and feel the tiger in your tank (does anyone besides me know where that quote comes from?).

I need names...and shots! Now imagine that...but everywhere! (good lines in the F4 flick!)

eStar Denver Leadership Conference

"Look at all my trials and tribulations sinking in a gentle pool of wine. Don't disturb me now, I can see the answer... is it evening? is it morning? Life is fine." Ah, the prophetic words from 'Heysus Kr-eye-st Superstah'. Life is most definitely fine, and I'm honored to share it with you!

I've just planned out and registered for the huge and fantastic eStar Denver Leadership Event on Aug. 12-13! I'll be flying out on the 11th, coming back on the 16th just in time for a special engagement on the Chapman Stage for a special VIP...shhhh, don't tell anyone!!! Whilest in Denver, I will split time with a friend formerly from Tulsa and my mentors, Roger & Ruleen Koons, who's support of me is immeasureable. During this Leadership Summit, I will be talking to the founders of eStar, brainstorm and learn from numerous local and national representatives, and have a great time changing lives! Haven't been to Denver since I moved away in January '02...golly, I miss the mountains!

On the workfront, I will be soon rough drafting the House Manager schedule for August... SummerStage will end on August 27 and from then thru September 9th, there's absolutely nothing going on here at the PAC except for a probable wedding reception on 9/3. Looking to have some fun, some sun, and some....uhhh...help me out here....what rhymes w/ fun/sun, etc. that will not have "bad" connotations? Six Flags over Tay-hahs, here we come!!

This week at the PAC: LOOK finishing their stay here w/ 'Fiddler on the Roof' (La Chiam!), Youth OnStage w/ 'SchoolHouse Rock' (loved that stuff back as a kid!), TFD w/ 'Raks Al Dunya' (the belly dancers), and Celebrity Attractions w/ 'The Rock and The Rabbi'...something for everyone so c'mon down and see me sometime! You know you want to... ;-)

Office Days, or What Am I Doing Here?

Welcome back to everyone from what hopefully was a relaxing/exciting/whatever holiday break! I saw the Tulsa River Parks 4th of July Pyro Spectacular (not the official name, mind you, but I like the sound of mine better!), got roasted at the pool (1st real sunburn of the year...I guess the flourescent 'burn' I get in my office/at work doesn't prep me well enough for ol' Sol), ate mass quantities of food, and saw family. May I take a tangent moment to say how cute and funny my youngest niece, Julia, is? Of course I can, this is my blog!! She's "munny" (anyone else get caught in a 'Swingers' loop?)!! Tennis anyone? Finally got to play 2.5 sets w/ my bro last week. Hope to play more often as schedules allow, including practicing w/ my oldest niece, Marissa, who we pray will be the next (redheaded) Maria Sharapova and take care of her uncle and family in our old age! Oh yeah, office days... **sigh** Trying....to......find....work.....losing....will-to-live...falling...asleepzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

On stage this week at the PAC: Theatre Pops' "The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?" Light Opera Oklahoma's productions of "The Mikado," "Too Many Sopranos" (is that a joke?), and "Fiddler on the Roof," and Tulsa Folkloric Dance's production of 'Raks al Dunya'.
