Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes...

Ahh, a great song, by the way! Ok, folks, I've updated some settings so now any and all guests (and many thanks to those who have discovered me and this blog) can post comments b/c I'm sure some people would love to stay anonymous as they love to torment me, right? Anyone???? Bueller??? Fry??? Golly, I haven't seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off in awhile... anyway, been house & dog-sitting for the 'rents as they've been in Vegas since this past weekend...finally come back tonight and I can sleep in my own bed! Wait, I only have a futon now since I gave my old bed to my sister (long story). I would almost kill to go to Vegas...haven't been since '97 when I took my twin bro as a pre-wedding gift...had won the trip on the sports radio station here to go see the WAC football championship game...well we ditched the game (wouldn't you?) and hung out at the MGM Grand, cruised the Strip, ate alot, and other things that fail to come to memory. I'll go again, oh yes, I'll go again...anyone wanting to do a road trip w/ me?

"Ray" w/ Jamie Foxx is truly an outstanding movie.

iTunes is/are my new best friend.

My current independent short film, "Carthage," is still in principal filming, which hopefully we'll be done by middle October. You can check out more on the film at www.nextmonkey.com...still working on posting the stills...and I've figured it out and here they are!!!

Was attempting to do "The Fantastiks" w/ Theatre Tulsa, but I couldn't make the auditions due to working the ballet...there weren't any callbacks surprisingly enough and I misplaced the director's phone number (whom I've worked w/ back in '02 in "Over the River & Through the Woods" w/ American Theatre Company. Probably for the best, though, as I'm also involved w/ Academy Central Elementary assisting the kids in putting on a play plus my semi-annual jaunt to Okmulgee H.S. to do Shakespeare scenes from That Darn Scottish Play and Ham-ma-lam-ma-ding-dong. I'll give a cookie to anyone who can guess these 2 plays.

Still getting love from when I did 'Damn Yankees' back in April... gosh do I miss being out on stage!!! Check this out...

Can you guess which I am? **smirk** Notice also the pics of me at the top of this posting. Or maybe not...

Just because you're Equity or SAG doesn't necessarily mean you or your show is any good...although no offense to anyone I personally know who might be part of the union.

More to come...if you dare to read it!

Back in the saddle!

Welcome back, Scott!! Why thank you ever so!! **crickets crickets** Did anyone miss me? Probably not, but it's probably a good thing I post something to this blog, right? Anyway...the SummerStage festival at the PAC is over and now it's into the fall season w/ the main user groups here. Currently we have the last 2 days of "Movin' Out", the nat'l tour, and the end run of Theatre Tulsa's "Harvey". The ballet was last week and the opera in 2 weeks. Next week is kind of laid back here w/ only a nat'l tour of Willie Wonka here... which is probably a good thing since I'm watching my folks' house while they are in Vegas (so jealous!!). But I will be attending a VIP reception on Monday at the PAC for the upcoming Lion King tour which will be here May 25-June 25, 2006. I am also attempting to keep slightly busy by doing an independent horror short film titled "Carthage" w/ NextMonkey Productions...we are set for filming completion in October and from there the movie will be sent to various festivals and some small-scale int'l distribution. This film will also be a stepping stone to the feature-length version next year, which hopefully I can be a part of. Below are some stills:

or maybe not... sorry.

I'll figure out how to add photos sometime.

In process helping a local elementary school put on a play from scratch...more advising role than anything but I can easily see myself being asked to direct... oy vey!

My sister just passed the assessments and physicals to enter the Air Force and do nursing...

Life is good!
